Fallacious Arguments

Current Science Issues: Argument by...: "There are many ways writers can convince us that their arguments are true. We see this a lot during political campaigns, where changing one ..."

When someone wants you to be on their side they will do anything to persuade you and these are some examples of how they can do this:
Here is an advertisement showing euphemism because of how the person who made the ad made a strong statement with the statement of "child abuse" and that makes the certain person feel strongly about the subject .

Made-up fallacious argument:

There are many things in this world that no one understands and no one is really capable of with-holding all the information in there heads especially when it comes to global warming there are some things that no one understands. Even scientists. Some people claim that there is plenty of different reasons for climate change but most say its because of global warming, but yet again there could be so many different possibilities for the cause, and yet again, no one REALLY knows.  Some people don't even believe in this so called "global warming" because there are no solid statements or facts to show that there is such a thing. Although scientists have tried to prove that global warming is happening, so far, i dont think they've made a breakthrough. So, really its all up to you whether or not you want to believe what you hear or not.

Disproving things

Current Science Issues: Global Warming? It was -11 this morning!: "So, there's been huge talk for a long time about "global warming." I don't buy it. First, I woke up this morning to -11 ..."

I don't exactly agree with this article; for one, global warming does have a lot to do with climate change. Here's a article that disproves your theory.

ALSO another point I'd like to disprove is that Texas isnt totally desert. It has a lot of different atmospheres that include mountainous areas and grassy planes. There are lakes in Texas such as Lake Buchanan.
